The fans & the legislators & boosters made the right call. Some went about it the wrong way, but it was a necessary veto. I still cannot believe it was considered - much less MOU'd.

Holy crap- whatever follows, it was the right call.

IF there is any justice in the world, we hire Leach and face Ohio State a few years later in a bowl game and hang 70 on Schiano and Urban.

Would be interested in what exactly was the "wrong way" especially in light of the urgency of the matter. What would have been the right way?

Sucking it up and dealing with absolute terrible football for the next 3-5 years at the hands of a (by all accounts) immoral crapstain of a coach, obviously.

Another reason for LEACH.
He won't apologize if he doesn't think he is in the wrong. He will speak up, speak loudly, and defend his position. He won't lap dog to some corrupt admin. At least not imho, based on his past behaviors.
