After the Defense gets a stop and the other team has to punt or after a turnover......as the defense leaves the field they play a little Shoop by Salt and Pepper. I wanna Shoop baby!

3rd down for what needs to die. It's atrocious and embarrassing. It's not good for recruiting either, Lil John is a joke to that generation.

I'd be on board for this in a situation where we have held the opponent under 10 points, its 4th quarter and the outcome of the game is no longer in doubt.

Third Down for What was fun and enjoyable for the first season that they did it, but it just needs to go away now. The novelty of it has worn off and last year there was a noticeable decline in the amount of people getting "hyped up" when the song came on as there was in the year prior.

Do agree 3rd down for what needs to be replaced. It was great while it lasted, but it's kinda old now. Maybe "Shoop" their it is!! Haha

How about one side yells "Sh**!" And the other side yells "Poop!" Then "Sh**!" "Poop!" "Sh**!" "Poop!" and finally everybody together yells "SHOOP!"

Third Down For What was a catchy tune with a really thick baseline, which combined with the "Third Down" part and a simple gesture the entire crowd could do, made it a hit. It was a fresh at the time -- I mean, people may claim the crowd's not into it anymore, but from my spot in the crowd during the Oklahoma game last year it sure looked to me like people were still pretty freaking into it.

It's hard to catch that lightning in a bottle, and harder to replace it. You need a certain rhythm, a certain beat, to get something like that working. I've yet to hear of a good replacement for Third Down For What. Most of the time folks suggest songs they personally like but are unfortunately either not catchy, not the right presentation, or just older tunes which don't connect with young people (and sometimes even older people).

Kill Third Down For What if people want, although I'll personally miss it, but don't try to stick something else in its place and make it work. You can't make something cool -- can't force it. Forcing it is how you get "Smokey's on the prowl."

How about "Let the Bodies Hit the Floor"? Or possibly a variation on the last line of Ezekiel 25:17 read by Samuel L Jackson..."you will know our name is the VOLS, when we lay our vengeance upon you."

I'm for everyone in the stands holding up 3 fingers and standing up. Everyone in the stands with their hands in the air yelling their asses off. That seems to do pretty good.
