Nice. Also, if anyone wants to go find and bump the various preseason polls here on VN asking what our record for the season would be, more than half said 9-3....with more folks thinking 8-4 out of the remainder than the few who guessed 10-2.

This team has overachieved this season, and should be very proud of themselves. The preseason concerns were universal among the national guys and our fans: a freshman QB, questionable Oline, and unproven secondary on defense. Vegas had the over/under on our beloved VOLS at 8.5 wins. Turns out that our defense has been stellar ranked #4 nationally, but the Oline and at some points freshman QB have hurt the team, so mostly the predictions were quite accurate. We did in fact allow Beck to throw for 350 yards mostly over the middle vs our Safeties and LBs...so that concern also was pretty accurate. Nico has improved all season though, especially since the Bama game. He will be very good in time.

Our VOLS have been excellent this season, and achieved the ultimate goal every season: making the playoffs. We have a difficult path, but we can beat any team in the nation when we play well. Win the next 4 games and we are National Champs again!

like what Josh Pate said about Vols, and is probably accurate. We are the least talked about team who can win it all. Said we could lose to OSU, but he wouldn't be surprised if we also won it all.
