Rob Spence - (OC Clemson) Fired with his HC. We offered twice supposedly.

Kippy Brown - (Assistant/Passing Game Coordinator) 20th in the NFL Passing with a 55.2% Completion PCT.and his team is 0-6.

Frank Cignetti - (OC for Cal) 232 yards per game passing, 409 yards per game Total Offense (32nd in nation), and averaging 37.9 PPG (15th in the nation).

These were the choices for OC before Clawson. We may have missed the boat on Cignetti. Seems like he is thriving in Cal.

Hard to believe Tedford doesn't have a whole lot to do with Cignetti's success.

Gus malzahn should have been hired away from tulsa. That was a no brainer. But i guess we need to consider the source.

I was actually excited about that buffoon Clawson. I feel like a real heel now.

No OC in the country could turn this garbage into a potent offense in his first year.

Talent is the first step, you are 100% correct. That's why I feel Cut left after Ainge graduated last year. He knew what we were going to field and he didn't want to tarnish anything he did here.

I think it had a lot to do with his desire to be a head coach. When he got offered a low stress job, he and his weakened heart decided it was a good idea.

We could insert any name as the new OC this year and I think the results would be about the same due to Fulmer being so controlling. The only time he does not get overly involved is when Cut is around and that is when our offense is more reliable. He is the reason no OC will every achieve any success while he is HC.

If he had just listened to me and hired Chris Hatcher, none of this would have happened. :)

How is his team doing this year? Georgia southern right?
They are actually having a little bit of a tough go of it right now due to their defense. They took a sacrificial beating from UGA to open the year and have since lost 3 more games by a combined 4 points.
