Starting the freshman corners last year paid off for this year. Plus Warrior finally stepped up his game after a slow start. Better linebacker and line play too. For the most part the D was the strongest side of the ball this year.
Maybe the other QBs had "sympathy pains" after watching JG, Maurer and Strout struggle.
No Lock, Grier, Tua (2nd half), no Burrow helped too.
Also this was the season of QB Turmoil in SEC with KY, SCAR, AL, FL, Mizzou all dealing with QB injuries and Tennessee, MissSt and Vandy not having great QB play. GaSt, KY, and MissSt are big running teams too.
Yeah much better to just not give credit and make up negative BS because you hate the coach. Good grief...
