Former USC running back Reggie Bush finally returned his copy of the controversial 2005 Heisman Trophy, a spokesman for the Heisman Trust confirmed to ESPNLosAngeles.com on Wednesday.

Reggie Bush was simply amazing. I still watch his youtube highlights. That kid is sooo amazing. I really thought he was going to tear the NFL up.

He was interviewed on Yahoo Sports Radio today and they hit him with some hard questions. I learned he isn't allowed to go back to USC and isn't allowed to stand on the sidelines but he does follow them as well as all other college teams. He said he mailed the trophy back a while ago. Seemed pretty uncomfortable with the questions.

Yahoo Sports guys called the Heisman Trust later to confirm.

I love the fact they aren't afraid to ask tough questions. Much better than ESPN.

Honestly after the PSU scandal what Bush did doesnt really seem that bad.
He was awfully fun to watch

Consider Arian Foster's NFL career vs. Reggies and ask yourself if they played the same competition level in college. Reggie would be an alright back in the SEC.

Personally I think he should have kept the damn thing, their is nothing amateur about college football other than the pay to players.

I'll have to hand it to Bush, I figured he would fade away as a Dolphin and we wouldn't hardly hear of him again but he has really stepped up his game.

I don't ever recall the NCAA producing evidence that Carroll knew

If C Patterson decides to spend a weekend in Kansas and gets comped for a steak dinner, Dooley could get slapped by the 'AA for that

I don't know why everybody expected CPC to keep up with the living situations of every parent of every player on the team across the country, that's the only way he would have known.

The sooner college athletics are treated as the glorified minor leagues that they are, the better.

This. It's refreshing to know not everyone still believes this was a "pay-for-play" situation. We had a failure in our responsibility to conduct compliance, per the NCAA. Very different from paying him to sign--not sure why we would since he had been on the team (2) years before the infractions began...
