If we're gonna bring Florida into this...
Meanwhile 1992 raises it's hand! I was there when lightning hit in the upperdecks! When the Squall hit Neyland and all hell broke lose!

Wettest I’ve ever been. Stopped at Gus’s to wring my socks out. Paid for my order with a 20 dollar bill from my wallet that was as wet as water as well. Fun times !

There has NEVER been a game in Neyland like the 1982 Alabama game. I have been going to games since 1965 and not one of any of the big games before or since then can match the intensity, emotions, or loudness of that game.
One of my greatest moments as a Vol fan was watching that drunk legend of a coach walk out of Neyland as a loser and headed to the Liberty Bowl.
Okay Boomer

I was there as well and one of my greatest moments as a Vol fan too.

I have an ashtray made from the goalposts that came down that day. It was a great environment that I loved, but I’ve heard it louder and seen just as much excitement since. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I have never heard Neyland as loud and rocking as 84’ Auburn or 90’ Notre Dame after we recovered the onside kick, 98’ UF was right up there too. It’s all in the eyes of the beholder, to each their own.

For specific moments...the Stoerner fumble recovery was as loud as any.

Even though some had begin leaving 95k plus lost their collective minds for 30 seconds.

I was there in 24 when hogs were 2 cents a lb and they handed you a gun to get in.
