regarding defense please remember

not only have we had injuries but their backups hit the portal so we have no depth. not trying to make excuses but i think we all know what’s likely to happen tonight. just don’t want yall to lose your minds as a result

Wait, so are you saying our defense may have issues? Someone ring the alarm. Close the drawbridges. Arm the towers. Begin 50 Hail Mary's immediately.

Why didn't someone warn us for heaven's sake???????

Imagine crying and getting your panties in a wad about a defense that leads the league in sacks and forces 2 takeaways per game with multiple defensive touchdowns on the season.

Hanging these young guys out to dry on 3rd and long in a zone scheme they’re clearly not ready to play is not helping them at all. Heupfully we see more mixed schemes on 3rd down with a little more pressure on the WRs to get off of coverage.

Every other team has injuries and portal defections from last year as well. A drop off from last year should have been expected. Being the worst or second worst defense in the conference in terms of points allowed is not excusable in year 5 though.

And is ranked 100th in the country in yards allowed! 107th in points allowed! 104th in first downs allowed! Our defense rules! 💪🏼

Which other team lost two starters at DB to graduating and a 3rd to the portal, and then two more NFL level corners to injury?

hanging them out to dry in man-to-man like we did when UGA sent the game to overtime hasn’t worked either brother.

sometimes there’s just not a good solution. unfortunately i think this is one of those times.

no other team is without their top 2 corners, including defensive MVP. it is what it is

Maybe so. I hate seeing them backpedaling and giving them first down yardage by default. Id rather play man to man and get beat than give it to them.

I actually posted that to prove our defense isn’t as bad as the media and some are making it out to be.
