Recruting rankings...past 2 years

I was looking back and found this interesting.

2002 Tennessee had the #2 ranked class overall
2003 Tennessee had the #18 ranked class overall

While I would like to be ranked at the top...as long as the teams needs are being filled I'm OK with wherever we end up. Obviously some players will not pan out, and some lesser rated recruits may become All-Americans.

Very true. I could name 5 star players that were busts and 2 star players that are in the NFL. It's all about getting solid talent and filling your teams needs. It's still fun to look at the rankings though .
