CBJ is definitely recruiting players that know how to win. The Berry's, Mouhon, Weatherd. Who else am I missing?

Does anyone think we can get Adoree Jackson? I know he has tweeted current commits but hope he is not giving us false hope like Von Bell did.

The former HC did not recruit Bell. Or the fact he didn't establish relationships....Don't blame the kids

Most would admit that Adoree has generally been considered a long shot given our W-L record this season and the last few years, but the way Butch recruits makes me feel like we have a shot with damn near anyone given enough time. If we don't get Adoree, it definitely won't be because our coaching staff was loafing.

I agree with this 100% Different then the last two coaching regimes--they recruit til the bell sounds. I can tell you we wouldn't be involved with guys like Scarborough late (even if odds are we won't land him) if not for Butch and the intensity of the recruiting. It's going to payoff NSD. Dooley it was like "didn't get that guy let's go home"---as a fan you feel like the current coaches are on point with all information. Would we be talking about a kid like Jakob Johnson if not for this staff? Kid is in Florida and to my knowledge wasn't even recruited as hard by FSU or Miami (I think Florida on him). He's a great prospect.

I think if we could get adoree we will finish in top 3. If we keep everyone and add adoree it could best recruiting season ever considering some of the underrated commits that should be ranked higher.

Yes. Part of the problem CBJ faces is getting rid of a losing mentality. Bringing in kids like this changes that. They aren't comin in here to take a back seat to other teams. They expect to win a championship of some sort while they're here

I do not know to start a thread;but,this one is fine.I certainly hope that >mr.Jackson signs here, also.I really would like Clifton Garrett to say on Tuesday that his new school is UT.An inside monster at lb.Whichever he chooses,I want to thank him for giving us a serious look and hope his career is rewarding.Hey,Clifton,come to Knoxville,you'll love it!

I hate to be a contrarian, but a lot of the players we've signed over the last few years have competed for and won state titles in high school.
