Get rid of Friend and let Chaney work with the WHOLE unit. None of that switching up bull. Also tired of them cross training linemen, keep them where they are and train them at that position. This cross training crap hasn't worked in the last 2-3 years or longer we have tried it.
My best guess is that they are over thinking it. They came in and saw the shape the players were in, and decided to do cross training to compensate for injuries that would probably occur. Still, doesn’t excuse coaching staff.

I’m talking in terms of the game yesterday. The OL wasn’t bad yesterday. It wasn’t some mauling unit like the eagles or cowboys. It sounds like you are expecting us to line up run iso and OT power and just be able to blow people back like there isn’t another team on the field.

They stacked the box and we had a high school level run game plan. Where was one play we were creative with? Did we do any unbalanced lines? Did we do any options or mis directions? We did absolutely nothing creative in that department.

It’s no secret that we have an average OL. But when your coaches refuse to do anything creative or out of the ordinary to help them then they don’t get better. Especially when they are playing a different position every pracfice and scrimmage.
Only expected to blow Ga state back! That was poor effort on both sides of the ball and at every position expect kickers place holder and long snapper. Had less than 100 yards on the ground. That is unacceptable against them. There weren't holes for the backs to run, JG ran a few times but other then that stood like a freaking statue. The receivers couldn't get open.

AT looked pretty good for the defense. To'oto'o looked ok. Not what he was being drummed up to be. Made some plays but over all looked slow and also slow to react. Shamburger looks terrible. Burrell for all the talk about how he was coming for a starting spot looked lost. Nigel was ok.

Where was Jerrod Means? VQ kept talking him up to be this stud of a punt/kick return specialist but I never saw him out there. (I did leave at the end of the 3rd) Pruitt looked disinterested. No fire in the team at all ,other than our kicker, (who was stoked he hit that 48 yard field goal).

When I was watching that Auburn/Oregon game that was fun. The passion of those players on both sides of the ball was great.

Why did we continue to sub guys in and out. We gave them a 3rd and 1 instead of it being 4th and 6 because the defense kept subbing 50 people at a time and they caught us with too many people on the field?

This was the most pathetic team effort I have ever seen from the coaching staff all the way down.

Side note: Why do we have a jumbotron if we can't get the f'n replays? They never want to show important plays.

Any good running back will look bad with an awful line.

Barry Sanders taps you on the shoulder. Seriously though, that was unfair of me, Barry Sanders was a once/twice in a century type player, I have never seen his like again. He played his whole career behind garbage Detroit Lions offensive lines, and was a legend anyway.
