I wonder what the total number of coaches is that managed to survive 6+ years without a title game appearance at an SEC school where that’s a realistic expectation? I’ve been trying to think of examples and it isn’t easy.

Eli's 7 years with Missouri = 0 title games
Beamer 6 years with USCJr = 0 title games (0 10 win seasons)
Lea 6 years with Candy = 0 titles games (just 2 seasons over 500)
Stoops 13 years at Kentucky = 0 titles games (now fired though)
Lane 6 years at Ole Piss = 0 title games

I heard that in some of the upcoming renovations they're going to upgrade the troughs by making them circular to allow better access.

They are so pessimistic. Every single is a close win, the defense will struggle for at least a month, Texas could slaughter us, GT is going to win.

Sheesh those takes were something. They did have a few good points here and there but so pessimistic for likely one of Heupels most talented rosters.

Being negative is just an easy sell this year because there are so many question marks...these idiots are just hoping we suck, so they look smart down the road. They know everybody will forget how stupid they were if we do not suck...they will just say "How could we have known it would go this well with all the question marks?"


I can see us having a down year, but we do have a lot of talent, my concern is that maybe that talent is discombobulated and not complimentary because of holes...if you know what I mean.

I just think we are still a few portal pieces away from REAL contention...THIS year, but if everybody will just shut up and be patient no matter what this year looks like...the immediate future looks freaking amazing.

We have a HC that literally lives in the top 10 offensively over his career...at multiple stops, and now a proven DC that does the same at multiple stops. And with Faizon, DGG, TK etc etc etc etc on offense in the next couple of years....the offense could be all time scary, and once Knowles gets the defense up to speed...things are going to be fun.

Betting on 40+ point lines is degenerate behavior.

With that said, I would predict we do cover.

We only have two games like this, and Heupel is going to want to keep George engaged. So I think the reserves are going to come in and run the normal offense until late in the 4th.

When I first started getting season tickets, I'd pay for a parking pass and I'd keep getting the Locust Street Garage. Then someone told me about State Street - which is only two blocks farther but free. We're coming from the west anyways so its right there off the highway for us. We've been parking there ever since.

How soon does State Street fill up before kick off?
