He did have some a few 30 & 20pt games last yr then JJ just stopped playing him. This yr they loaded up on guards by adding Smart & Laravia with Luka & Reaves. Plus somehow Gabe Vincent still gets playing times (worse player on the team btw) doesn't leave much pt for DK when he has a coach/front office that wont give him meaningful chances. Its been a cluster since the failed trade this time last yr

NOW, when Joey possibly gets another year, all of a sudden everyone is on the GMac train. Let the staff decide and competition shake things out. What they did last year in Fall Camp is completely irrelevant. What Joey has done under the lights earns him another shot. What a screwed up fanbase.

That’s an old narrative. It’s becoming markedly safer. Murders went down 47% in 2025. The city and state invested heavily in crime prevention in Memphis this budget year and will continue in the upcoming budget. The crime numbers are dropping and the roadway fatalities have dropped significantly as well. We’re putting more troopers on the interstates and roadway shootings have gone way down.

Still a long way to go, but it’s not what it was.
