Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

It's his left arm from what I read. So not throwing with it. AP and the VQ guys talk like it doesn't matter what happens in Joey's hearing that it's not likely he is our QB next year bc he hasn't publicly said that he wants to come back. I am curious because I think that IF he is given another year that he would be a fool to NOT come back. I am not sure any of these portal QBs are gonna put up a better season than Joey. He lead the SEC in passing yards for Pete's sake...and was close in TDs etc. He threw too many picks but we couldn't run the ball very well this season and many times the game was on him. IF he gets another year which isn't likely...I think we would be fools to not bring him back.
Why is it not likely? The reasons given for Pavias injunction by the presiding judge still hold true. He basically said that Juco years counting against eligibility are most likely a violation of the Shernan act and that Pavia (and every other guy with Juco years that have added themselves to the suit) was probably going tobwin the case when it goes to trial...that it still the case, nothing has changed in that chain of logic.

Also on the Joey topic....Imo I think assuming that Joey would even sign with us for peanuts...just because...is stupid. The guy just led the SEC. If he gets the injunction and wants to make a few mil before heading into mid-life...which he would be crazy not to...there are a LOT of schools that will throw big money at him imo. I think our stupid Idiot Margin anti-Joey bias has turned people's brains to mush. He is worth a LOT of money to a lot of teams.
