It just never felt safe. There were moments in the 1st and 5th where you felt we coulda blown it open but it just didn’t happen. Never got comfortable.

yep. When we win a title, it will come in a year we don’t expect it. That tends to be how baseball works. Great year and great run! Was a fun team to watch.

We actually outscored them by 2 runs. We outplayed them overall, but those last few runs killed us this game.

No drew in Game 1...and not having the best pitching coach in America. ND hadn't scored more than 5 runs in a game in months No coincidence.

Sadly ND won't even make the final series.

That's baseball with a silly format (non-MLB 7 game series).

They’ve been punched in the mouth all year. It’s baseball and they went 57-9. Incredible season, and it happens.
