She's the one! I love her genuine and childlike enthusiasm when she hears songs and vocals that blow her away. Watching her listen to Cemetery Gates by Pantera was phenomenal. Especially the back to back to back screams as they got higher in pitch late in the song.
I love that bit. Especially when dimebag just mimics it on guitar. Great song, probably their best as far as display of their talent goes.

Watch her review of take hold of the flame by queensrÿche. She has a meltdown over how much range he has

You ok bro? Seeing on the news about all of this flooding up your way. Making sure you and yours are good.
Thanks for asking..we are ok, we actually live up on top of a high ridge just before you get into Harlan, but most of the SE Kentucky area is wiped out...it is horrific. All of the towns are in the low lying river and creek drainages. I thank God that we live up high.

Harlan county has gotten really lucky this time...all of the flooding so far is north of Pine Mountain...but the three forks of the Cumberland that come together in Harlan are all pretty high, and the Cumberland river proper is way high...we can't take much more tonight without the low lying areas in Harlan and Bell county getting wiped out too.

Wow, sad to say I wasn’t even aware. Praying for eastern Kentucky.

Dimebag mimicking tge vocals with his guitar is amazing. Definitely my favorite song from them. Thanks for the info. I'll give it a listen driving to work tomorrow.

Brown was the best player…..and did all that in only 8 games.
Maybe...but, Majors had the better year. More total yds, 2 fewer TDs, and led his team to a better season. Majors also returned kicks and punts, he punted, and played defense.

To add, as well...197 of Brown's 980+ yds, and 6 of his 14 TDs came in one game, against Colgate...he also kicked 7 extra points that day, had 43 pts total.

I am definitely not taking ANYTHING away from Jim Brown; but, Majors is the one who got screwed. Actually, many players got screwed with Hornung winning it.

I’ve been wanting to build a new PC since about the start of COVID. Prices were just so high on graphics cards that I wasn’t about to pay close to double for the cards I wanted, so I’ve waited. The crypto miner protections have definitely helped the price come down though, so I’m probably going to take advantage of the low prices and start the build soon.
I used to build them in high school, but I travel too much for a desktop now, and I don't trust myself to build a laptop. My 7 year old gaming laptop is definitely in need of replacing, so I might be checking out options as prices come down too.

😳🥲 Glad y’all are okay.

I mean it floods in Middlesboro almost every time it rains hard. Give me something to compare it to. I don't know Harlan County as well as Bell Co. but Middlesboro was built in the crater of a meteorite hit. It's in a bowl and it's flooded as long as anyone can remember because of that. I can remember several big floods over the years (including last March). Downtown Middlesboro under water is somewhat common.

There's a weeks worth of rain coming to the general area. If it's as bad all over as Middlesboro tends to get every time heavy rain hits then KY is going to have a major disaster on its hands.

Last year the top 5 teams had 2/3rds of top 100, right now the top 6 don’t even have half.

Sunbelt Billy –

Napier got his first major gig with Clemson as their OC when Swinney was promoted to HC. Napier lasted two years before Dabo fired him. Billy then hung out at Alabama as an offensive analyst for Saban during the 2011 season then joined McElwain as the QB coach at Colorado State for the 2012 season.

In 2013 Jimbo hired Billy to come to FSU but within a month Saban reached out and brought Billy back to Alabama as his WR coach. Billy stayed for 4 years in Tuscaloosa then departed to be the OC on Todd Graham’s last staff at Arizona State. Herm Edwards took over for Graham after the 2017 season and offered to retain Billy but Lafayette offered Billy the HC position with the Ragin’ Cajuns so Billy headed back south.

In 2018 Billy assembled the 5th best recruiting class in the SBC and won 7 games. The year prior to Billy’s arrival the Cajuns had the 9th best class in the conference. The following three years he would have the top ranked recruiting class in the SBC and compile a 3-year record of 33-5.

Billy was a QB at Furman in his playing days and for much of his coaching career less Alabama he’s done double duty as the QB coach. Interesting his offense favors the run and his passing yards don’t usually rank that high in the national standings. Billy plans to be the playcaller for the Gators on offense.

During his 3-year breakout performance for Lafayette a major strength of his team was his defense. His run defenses didn’t rank that high but his pass defenses and scoring defenses were pretty good. It’s the Sun Belt so maybe SBC teams run a lot and don’t pass all that much. In any event it’s the scoring that matters and the Cajuns did a good job keeping opposing teams off of the scoreboard.

The tendency of Napier’s team to run more than pass would seem to play to our favor and the tendency for his defense to not be that great against the run also seems to be in our favor. jmo.

I think it’s apparent that a major factor in the success Billy had a Lafayette was the performance of his recruiting operations. Bringing in the top rated class in the conference for 3 years running yielded a historic run for the Ragin’ Cajuns. It is likely that Billy will attempt to duplicate that recruiting success at Florida in the hopes of repeating the on field success it provided for him at Lafayette. jmo.

Florida fans are a bit unsettled that Billy doesn’t appear to be recruiting well for the line of scrimmage on either side of the ball. Their complaint is that he is stacking defensive backs but in looking at the emphasis of his defenses at Lafayette, that may make sense. I don’t know how well it’s going to work out for him as it’s generally thought that a team needs to be able to stop the run in the SEC. Time will tell. jmo.

Another concern expressed by some Gators is that Billy may not be able to handle elite recruits from Florida because they tend to be edgy, or he may just not want to deal with them. This might be an advantage for us because while Florida currently has a high BCR going for this class they’re mostly all barely blue chips. He doesn’t have a single top 100 player (>95). If a strong wind was to blow through the swamp at least half of his class would likely be revealed as 3-stars. jmo.

We’re obviously back on track relative to the rest of the East but we’re still for the moment chasing Florida and Georgia. There are only 31 prospects in the top 100 (>95) left on the board so it’s not inconceivable that Florida misses out this year entirely. It looks like we could be gaining on Florida. jmo.

Yup. Some coaches, like Saban and Dabo, like to **** on NIL sayings it bad for football, etc… but the truth is it’s leveled the playing field. They are just pissed that their monopoly on top recruits took a hit.

Yeah I had a buddy that looked into building a gaming laptop and eventually just bought a high end gaming laptop. He said it would be too difficult to build one. He travels a bunch for work and needed a laptop instead of desktop so it was perfect for him. He bought that thing when the graphic cards we’re expensive too, but he didn’t have much of a choice. Nows the perfect time to start looking again though.
