Lol yes
You are throwing some serious shade at Malone. He didn't have to dribble because he played his position and let Stockton do that.

They aren't even comparable players. One has 2000 3pters the other 85. One averages 7.5 assts the other 3.5. LBJ has even shot 2pters better at 55% compared to 52. 99 triple doubles to 4. It's just an awful comparison.

Y'all getting a little silly with the Lebron would only avg 20 in the 90's talk. Mitch Richmond was averaging 23-24 in those days. Come on. I dislike Lebron and won't argue that absurdness.

LeBron would have been awesome in the 90s - he’d have scored a bunch and been all over the news.

He also would have been sitting home watching Jordan kiss six trophies

Since we're on a basketball kick and thinking about how the game continues to evolve towards efficiency and proven analytics - this is very interesting.

DEEP threes (30+ foot shots) have increased 450% in just 4 years (2015-2019). Yet a 30 footer (in the NBA) is far more efficient than any jump shot beyond 3-4 feet.

Cmon I assumed by using a 90's car youd see the sarchasm?

ive seen a couple dudes push close to 500. Us people here on Earth are just happy to get to workout these days. I'm sure @nicksjuzunk can attest, unless you're just an absolute freak of nature or, on the juice. That's a ridiculous number.

I would be shocked if Chamberlain even came close to those numbers. The dedication, nutrition, science behind that movement. Means a lot of things have to go right. And sadly, go wrong.
Yes, it is a crazy number but I’ve seen 130 pounds Jenn Thompson bench 325 so I’m not one to simply disqualify something that seems insane

^^^ Which makes me think of Rick's offense and how unusually dependent on midrange jumpers it is. With the addition of the Auburn 3 point specialist transfer and others, I do wonder if he will be shifting some in coming years. Especially seeing how well Bama did with a modern approach, as well as Baylor of course.

Very true my man. Thought the same thing all year tbh.

247 saying WR is a bigger transfer priority than fans would think. Interesting. Another poster said WR is a top transfer priority. In thread about Javonta Payton.

Need to reorient ourselves now that we have an offensive minded coach

I’ve only thought of defensive needs

For anyone comparing eras in the NBA (I.e. the Bad Boys) keep in mind that Bill Laimbeer, Rodman, Rick Mahorn, etc. wouldn’t have lasted for a cup of coffee in a game today because they’d foul out in approximately 67 seconds the way they played.

Even Pippen would have trouble with Lebron if for no other reason than he couldn’t physically hold/grab him.

Lebron is amazing and I don’t get the hate at all, but MJ is the GOAT.
lebron would be afraid of Rodman

No doubt, MJ is the GOAT, but LBJ is significantly better than what people give him credit for. He was shaped by the era of basketball he has played in. The game is vastly different than the 80s/90s, which is very different from the 60s/70s.

Greats, KAJ, MJ, and LBJ, would adjust to the different styles of the times... that is why they are greats.
The game is no where near what is was in the 80’ and 90’s. It’s a dang 3 point contest today.
