This is intentionally misleading. Chadwell is Coastal Carolina's only coach since moving up to the FBS. They joined the Sun Belt full time in football in 2017. So Chadwell has bad seasons with an FCS team moving up to FBS. He won 11 games this past year. Chadwell needs continued success but don't make up things.

Let's talk about Lane. Dude is obviously an offensive genius. Defense has always been his struggle. What is his ceiling at TN? Can he truly be the guy to bring us back to championships.

We look at his first year at Ole Miss, and dude knows how to score points. He scored 48 against Bama, but allowed 63. A bad Arkansas team held his offense to 21 points. Are we sure he can win at a high level?

Well, seeing as he is the only coach that got us close enough to beat Bama....year 1.(Should have won) I will say yes.

Doug Nussmeier was OC/QB Coach at Fresno in 2008, again not sure when White was there. I doubt it's this guy, but interesting connections if you take into account any/every spot White's worked.

He’s never been anywhere long enough to know if he can build, but I have faith. Yeah, Bama scored 63 but they scored 50+ on pretty much everyone.

If he is given a good defensive staff and goes hands off on that side of the ball, he can win here. At WORST he can beat Mizzou, UK, Vandy, etc. every year.

I mean the guy beat Indiana this year in their best year in forever. Pretty impressive considering the roster he had.

with Pruitt we scored 51 points against bama... it just took 3 games

It failed because we had bad coaches in too many spots to teach them well. It wasn't the style that failed...it was the execution of that style.

I actually think smash mouth will win again soon. Football is cyclical. And like the Ole Ball coach said, “First coach to run the wishbone won championships, last one to run it got fired.”

It’s better to run something others are not. But you have to do it well. We didn’t.
