Who knows. But the news breaking this late smells fishy as hell unless there was something non football related going on. I’d love to think this was a Tosh play but that doesn’t make sense. You line it up, tell the guy you’re making the move so they can start looking around, and announce it when the ink is dry. You don’t just up and fire someone after a huge loss when it’s not their side of the ball that’s the issue.
