ESPN just said he has to have 3 negative tests, he’s already got 2 needs one more on Saturday. Hope he shows up and they boat race Georgia
Saban getting special rules. When players had to quarantine they had to miss 2 weeks and it didn't matter if they started testing negative.

My Pinellas faves...in order..
#1..Ft DeSoto State Park
#2..Honeymoon Island State Park
#3..Caladesi Island State Park
#4..Pass-A-Grille
#5..Pasadena/Sunset Beach
#6..All the rest are pretty much equal, and I love em all.

But...I love the State Parks more because of the more natural feel of the beaches..which some people love and some hate.

My in-laws live right across from Honeymoon Island and Three Rooker in Crystal Beach.

Me too, he’s the type of player you want to see succeed cause he plays the right way. Can’t wait to see what he does with Willis and Lewis around him next year.
So you believe they will start right away? What about the Whitehaven Lb’s?
Everyone seems to be excited about the highly rated recruits coming in but forget about the highly rated recruits from last year.

Might as well go ahead and put the negative beside the third test, because everyone would be fooling themselves to think there’s even a remote chance it will not be negative. Quite frankly, I hope he does get to coach. They might get run out of the stadium if he’s not coaching. The matchup that determines that game is the Alabama offense versus Georgia defense. If Georgia holds that offense to under 20 points, they might win by 10+.

I agree, imo Georgia has a good shot at beating them. Despise both programs but pulling for Bama here all the way. Cannot stand the thought of Kirby being successful

Looks like Kentucky is really good against the run. Not what I wanted to see when looking at their stats
Meh USCe and Mizzou are 4th and 7th in the conference and we had little issue with them on the ground. I think at the end of the season we'll see rushing vs UGA was an anomaly.

I posted last week that this is a game we'd better not overlook. Between UGA and Bama...dangerous spot for a game. We must win this game to have a good year. And recruiting?

It would only be dangerous as a sandwich game if we were a conference championship contender who thought we only had to worry about UGA and Bama, and assumed we could overlook teams like UK on the road to a championship. We're not a championship contender and UK won't be considered an afterthought.

I don't think we will run nearly as well against UK as we did against Mizzou. UK has a solid front 7. Probably better than the SC front 7 because of size and experience. I think we test that secondary early like we did when JG came in to start the 2nd half last season, which loosened the defense up and opened up some running lanes. Not to say that I don't think we will run the ball early, which we will, but I also expect to see us throw a good bit on early downs to loosen up that front 7.

I think Chaney comes out and stays run heavy to try to get our O-line feeling like men again. I can see us having success running the ball.

So excited to see this baseball tal... 😴

AJ Minter getting the start tonight. So it will be a bullpen game. Smart move. If it needs a sixth game you still have Fried but now on full rest instead of rushing him back.
And our bullpen is strength. Get 1.5-2 solid innings out of each and we are set.
Let's hope the Braves bats are popping tonight!

Various KY defensive stats (all conference rankings):

11th in yards before contact (rush d)
...but 1st in yards after contact

They will get pushed back some, but will make the tackle (#2 in missing run tackles behind UGA). Need to break some tackles or push in less congested areas.

#1 in run havoc rate
...but 13th in pass havoc rate. 14th in sack rate. 13th in pressure rate.

I think we will run pretty well against them and can have a balanced offense like the first 2 games. BUT if we become 1 dimensional, we should at least have time and opportunities to pass.

They are 4th in not allowing big plays (15+ yards). 8th in giving up 7-15 yard plays. Classic bend, but don't break defense.

They are 11th in allowing RZ TD%. While we're at it, haven't seen this mentioned yet - we are tied for 2nd in the league at RZ TD% (offense)! Strong run game does wonders down there. It's been too long. A very welcome change from last year.

Sunday practices are definitely being done to get guys ready
I think Pruitt has seen enough of the upperclassmen and wants the guys he recruited to start showing why he recruited them
We Have some good young talent on defense
Absolutely love the idea.

Extra development for young guys AND how about using this in recruiting? I remember playing basketball both pre and during season and all we wanted to do at practice was PLAY. Players enjoy playing and want to whether it's a real game or not. If recruits know that as freshmen, whether they are playing on Saturdays or not, they can still play ball on Sunday...that's big. Great idea.

So I just moved to Marietta recently, you guys got any advice, recommendations, or just general info on the area? I still know nothing about it.
The humans down there have a psychological condition which causes them to bark at other humans and misspell the word "dog".

Beware of human.

I would like to see Kyle Wright get into the game he did get rocked game 3 but has 2-3 plus pitches. Dodgers have arguably 2nd best offense inMLB.

Are you in East Cobb or in the city? The square is really nice and the Marietta Square Market is good. There are really good restaurants in the square like Spring, Thaicoon, and The Butcher and the Baker. There are also several bars. Kennesaw Mtn is good to hike up and there are lots of bike trails around.

I think it’s really important that Chaney force the run especially behind the right side of our line. Even if it’s we’re not ripping off chunks stay with it and build some consistency there. Also think we need to do a little more misdirection in the run game instead of mainly outside zone.
Don't have time to look at this, but thought this was apropos:
