Much like Favre, Jordan, Rice, Shaq, and even Belichick, Saban just can't help himself. They all needed to ride off with their rings and awards and let everyone remember you as a high level competitor. Instead, they look exactly like they are, someone past their prime, trying to rekindle something that is long gone. It's sad.

*in my case, it was Brett Favre that bothered me the most. He was my favorite NFL player when I was in my 20s and when he went to Minnesota, it made me lose respect for the guy. It turned out he was a dirt bag but as a Packers fan, his stint with the Vikings was sickening

I don't believe for a second Nick wants back into coaching. He's got it made. He's raking in easily as much as he made coaching and dealing with far fewer headaches.
