You‘re clueless.
I'm on board with this.

I haven't had time to pay that much attention, which is why I scoured some way too early all-sec pick lists and didn't see many UT players either (offense). And then I asked y'all.

I think we may end up with 1, maybe even 2, in the 1st + 2nd teams, but I don't see them off the bat/on paper right now either. Here's to optimism and player development.

Finally looking at the upcoming roster...I'd be lying if I said the offensive skill, as it stands, isn't a bit disappointing.

Does anyone see a first or second team All-SEC player on offense? I'm seeing Bishop and Lewis projected as our RB1/RB2. Maybe Matthews or Kitselman could develop into an All-SEC first/second teamer. Heard on OL? That's about as far as the eye can see right now, being optimistic.

I'm thankful for our scheme, which should cover a lot up, as always. Being left with UCLA's QB2 and losing Sampson is a tough road to climb in the SEC, let's be honest. The OL will need to be dominant. I think the run game will find a way to eat, the question will be keeping drives alive through the air.

The defense will be the backbone once again imo and that's fine until Faizon arrives or GMac explodes onto the scene. It's a rebuild year and we need to rebuild for sure. Build depth and grow this year.

Great years ahead is undoubted given the pipeline and elite coaching we have. But I'm worried about the crazy moran histrionics in the meantime. Just focus on the future if you must, morans. It's blinding.
Neither of our OLinemen transfers allowed a sack last season, one played in the college football playoffs and the other was all conference. Try again

Hmm. Pay'un, Tee, Condredge, Heath Shuler.

The Indian Chief HAS to be Josh Dobbs.

This is body of work, what they mean to the program. What they've done for other humans, what they've done in NFL.
There's Peyton, then there's everyone else.. just fill in the blanks with the other 3..

TCU sucks because they only won 9? Wow, some of you calling people idiots and others saying teams “suck” really need to learn how to increase your vocabulary to show a little more intelligence. I wonder where some of you went to school!
Yeah, that seems like a bit much. For the discussion at hand, I think it's likely the truth falls somewhere in the middle, as is typically the case. I don't think CJH was panicking and throwing around huge piles of cash because he didn't trust the QBs we had on campus. I also don't think he was just going to stand pat with 2 scholarship QBs with little to no experience heading into the season. My gut says he had a couple of guys, such as Altmeyer and Hoover, that he thought were good enough to make a run at. Once neither panned out, he just brought in an experienced starting QB to join the QB competition.

Think he is the most likable RB we’ve ever had at TN imo. So glad we got blessed with him instead of these freaking mercenaries other teams have.

I don’t care for the browns but I’ll be watching just to see him and I will not be surprised to see him emerge as RB1 by mid season. They’re already talking about having some routes lined up for Sampson which surprised me as he didn’t really do much of that here.

Rotflmmfao. So, the only person who can offer opinions regarding the Tennessee coaching staff is Josh Heupel actual??

Uh. No. This is a sports board. We are fans. We offer opinions, good and bad. It’s the way this works.

If we went your way, we would still have Slingblade as HC, since after all who can offer an opinion about his competence besides himself???

Silly.

You can add up all the negative opinions on assistant coaches for the last year and it won’t move the guy that hires and fires needle one inch. But yeah, we are all free to share our worthless opinions…..,,,on coaches and other posters worthless opinions and the associated arrogance.
