Does Nike/UT not do a consumer panel or focus group to evaluate jersey designs?

Good meaning behind the uniforms but definitely a miss. No concerns if they opt for Adidas. Nike is getting stale and Adidas is pumping a lot of money back into college football. Just my thoughts.

It’s one game a year, and each one has been different. It will be played with one time to probably never see it again. I think there are probably only so many variations of a grey uniform.

But if you are going to do it do it right! That stupid tread on the helmet and arms look absolutely dumb and cheap! The colors don’t even match which makes the dumb design of those treads look even worse. So it’s a swing and a miss. Great thought behind it, but it’s like Stevie Wonder did the design and didn’t have any idea what color or patterns were there for the choosing. As said above I’ve seen people on Instagram and Tiktok make better alternative jerseys. Maybe hire one of them.

Absolutely nothing wrong with this Uniform. Everytime a new version is made the fashion designers come out of the woodwork on here

I wear suits all of the time with different shades of the same color for shirt, tie, and suit. Camouflage is always different shades of the same color. While I am not in love with it, this just doesn't cause me to care a whole lot. As the graphic shows above, there is always thought put into every inch of the uniform. Pursuant to the contract, we've had to reveal a new one each year. Glad we are saluting our heritage and our military!

One last thought and I’ll shut up.


These look like something a mid-major would wear. A college without qualified professionals who would vet out a busy/complicated/clunky design like this. It screams “trying too hard to get noticed” and fails so miserably.


Also, what the hell is a Davy Stripe? Sounds like something he did in the woods.

I'd like to see a storm troopers version of the smoky grays. White helmet with mountains. White jerseys with light gray numbers and dark gray borders or something like that.
