Jim McMahon says helloHonor Code: " It emphasizes living a chaste and virtuous life, including abstaining from sexual relations outside of marriage between a man and a woman, as well as same-sex romantic behavior. The Honor Code also addresses academic honesty, dress and grooming standards, and respect for others, among other things. "
How long before those #1 recruits break the code?
Dude...that actually made me tear up...that is awesome!A why we are here story
The last several years I have been battling what seems like one health issue after another and haven't been able to play golf for over four years. Last year my oldest grandson (13) wanted to play golf with me on our annual beach vacation. I was not able to play which he was gracious beyond his years in understanding why I could not.
This year he made the same request and in April I announced that I was playing. This week he joined my son, bother in law, and myself in a family scramble on his first 18 holes of golf.
After his first tee shot he told me he had never been so nervous in his life. I assured him that he would have fun and somewhere in the round he would save the team. On number 17 my grandson chipped in for a birdie and with the ruckus we raised I'm sure the course thought someone had a hole in one.
On the way home he told me it was the best day of his life.
Sometimes we do the right things. When I told my wife with tears swelling up she said I was getting soft with age.Dude...that actually made me tear up...that is awesome!
While we were out in Grand Teton-Yellowstone we all rode the Jackson Hole tram up to the top of Rendezvous Peak and while we were up there everybody was throwing snowballs at each other and just having a blast, and my 9 year old step-grandson comes running up to me and hugs me real big and says thanks for taking him out there, and that it was the best day of his life....yep I cried..![]()

Who cares? It shows you love your children, or grands. Btw, is that ironic? Grands, on the Grand? Anyway. Love that story. Such a special place.Sometimes we do the right things. When I told my wife with tears swelling up she said I was getting soft with age.
