It will help when the staff is complete. Some of these guys would like to know who their position coach will be. That coach will have the most influence on their development.
That matters a lot.

According to Kiffin's interview on CSS, position coaches has not been an issue whatsoever. He was asked specifically in the interview if recruits had asked him about who their position coaches would be and he said that has not been an issue at all. His reply was the kids are familiar with the defense Monte runs at Tampa Bay and the offense USC runs.
