I think (name slips my mind) the guy who committed to "The University of LSU" at the All-American game wins, though i like Syke's quote from a Volunteer standpoint

I like Rolando Melancon's quote about his last name. Jimmy Hyam's was talking about some people having trouble pronouncing it and asked Ro how long it would take for people to learn it. His response-"As soon as I step on the field".

That's almost as funny as the quote from Trooper Taylor this past season when Meachem beat a hapless cornerback for a TD and someone asked Trooper when Meach had the DB beat and Trooper said "The day he was born".:good!:

is this weird....Markish Jones signed papers for Clemson, then walked into his coaches office and signed papers to play at FSU and sent it..

i think this class has a lot of swagger. something i think our previous classes lacked. I think this class could really push the team as a whole from the practice field to the playing field.

Sounds like this class has a lot of character already.

I heard a story on Rivals radio on NSD where a player was committed to Ohio State and he had to go to the local Walgreens to fax in his LOI. The whole LOI got in to the coaches except the paper wrinkled on the signature part and it was unreadable. The OSU coaches called the recruit back and asked if he could resend the LOI because the signature part didnt go through and the recruit said, "Well you know what coach, I've been thinking and I think I wanna go to UCLA anyways." and he sent his LOI to UCLA

Now since we're talking quotes. Nobody beats Gerald Swindle who is a BASS pro from Hayden, AL. Asked on the podium what he did differently today, he said, "I just pulled my panties up and fished like a man."

In another tournament he was having a bad luck on the final day of fishing. His quote with cameras rolling,"days like today is like dating an ugly girl, there's nothing good about it."
