Has anyone looked at the recruiting angle to point toward the new coach? The question mainly arises from the fact that Tahj Boyd has not softened any on his commitment, that we know of. Now, to keep him commited I would think the kid would have to ask and be told something about the coach they were trying to bring in. That being said, what coaching candidate's offensive scheme would benefit most from a high profile dual threat QB?

let's hope if we hire a spread coach, that he doesn't get pissed......

I don't think Boyd is going to decommit from another school. Not anytime soon, anyways.

No recruit needs to be dictating to Hamilton in what direction he needs to go in hiring a new coach...

Well if we hire a college coach maybe he can drag some of his top verbal recruits along !!!

he may open up to UT, which may indicate Sarkisian or Kiffin is being considered and he (Barkley) knows.

I think the guys that are left are going to be with us through this. We still got alot of good players commited to us, if we can keep them and add a couple of others this class will be great considering everything that has happened.

hardly true at all... Barkley probably doesn't even know Kiffin since Lane's been gone from USC for a few years. Barkley's been a lock to USC since he was a JR. Pipedream.

i dont think hammy would tell any of the recruits who was the front runner is in his search... too much of a liability risk of them leaking the info to the media

Having gone through the college FB recruiting process myself, some time ago, Boyd has to have asked questions if he is smart. He has been told something I am pretty sure(read assumption). Maybe not names of the HC but possibly a list of OC's or their styles.

He is the #1 overall player this year. IIRC, he commited to USC last year. He was presented an award at the Outback Bowl last year with Joe Montana.

I don't have the link, but it was from a USC poster who was posting on Volchat. He said that the rumor there was that Barkley was opening up and considering Tennessee and two other schools (I think Washington was one of them) and he thought it was because Kiffin and/or Sarkisian are being considered by Tennessee and I guess Washington.
