Recommendations for 1st trip to Knoxville

Some friends and I are currently doing a tour of the SEC and are going to one/two games each year. We will making our first trip to Knoxville this weekend. I have a couple of questions?

1) Best places to eat

2) Best places to hang-out at night

3) Best place to go before the game

There are several places to go before the game. The strip(Cumberland), G10, or go down to the river with Vol Navy. I have tailgated at all three and they all over different pregame options that are great. If you want to stay near the stadium to eat you can go to Calhoun's, Copper Cellar, or head downtown to the brewery. I'm not sure your age, but after the game you can always hang out on the strip and then head to the old city later on in the night. If you want something more laid back there are several bars around downtown. For dancing etc, go to hanna's around midnight.
