Please show me anyone on this board who feels entitled to a Final Four. I am one of the very few people who thinks we have any shot at it at this point.
When you are 7-1 with a loss by 1 point to a top 5 team and everyone is down on your performance, it shows that the collective expectations are high. With 4 seniors I want Pearl to at least get Elite 8 for the first time in school history or I will be disappointed.
I also joined everyone else on here to say that we would know a lot more mid Jan than we do today.
Charlotte is not a crap team and neither is Memphis. Both of those games would be good wins and I predicted prior to watching Memphis almost beat Kansas that we would lose to the Tigers.
Depaul has an RPI in the 50s, and 6 wins, one against St. Joes and one on the road against a Northern Iowa team that should end up in the tournament. They will have 9 wins before they start the Big East schedule and they will not lose every game in conference this year. They lost to Vandy and Miss State without arguably their best player and he should return in time to help them beat some of Providence, Marquette, Rutgers, South Florida, St. Johns etc.
