What I found interesting is that the ESPN College Game Day crew seemed to think that UT is taking a big chance on Kiffen from their comments on Saturday, but the NFL Game Day crew seems to think that it is a coup for UT as of Sunday.

They just seemed to be polar opposites on the subject.

Yeah seems like professionals think he is great and then jokester entertainers like the College Gameday guys decided to throw a fit. I know Holtz was upset with the way Phil was fired. I think they are having some group think thinking Phil got the short end, while pros understand you do not perform and you are done.

ok in 05/06 he shared the OC duties with Steve Sarkisian at USC while Coach Carroll maintained veto power...now he has some credit.

The College Game Day crew has always blasted TN... For some reason, Corso and Herbstreit never have anything good to say about TN. Fowler is the only one that ever says good things about TN.

Maybe they just don't like TN because whenever their schools (FSU and OSU) have played TN, they got beat!
