The way I look at the whole Lane Kiffin should not have been hired is that we will have to wait until year 3 of his tenure to see truely if we made the right choice. I don't consider this year and next year a rebuilding as much as I do a re-learning period. The next two years our team has to re-learn what it means to be a winner. They are gonna lose games where they should have won but don't know how to finish, yet. A good coach will show them and instill that in them. If we don't have those types of players by year three, then we should be really concerned. Talent can take you far, but the will to win is the key. I am hopeful this year and I think we will begin to see that drive. It will be interesting.

Oh and one last point to those like 5150 and VOLBALL333, our head coach for now is Lane Kiffin. How about getting onboard and giving the guy a chance. To sit there and criticize is really pointless. You may not like him personally, which I see is where most of your comments stem from, but just because he's not doing things the way the other guy did it, doesn't mean it won't work.

5150 is a Tennessee Troll on a Tennessee Board. He is trolling his own school and likes to keep the **it stirred. Sad but true. Not sure why he thinks he has to do it but he does.

Bama and UF have more talent than UT right now due to the terrible recruiting of fulmer, but when Kiffin and Coach O build up the talent by getting a ton of top recruits all over the U.S., UT will be beating both teams with regularity---mark it down.

Did I strike a nerve? As I see you have no response other than a personal attack to the fact that up until last year(2008) your program has a coach to be remotely proud of. Yes you WERE undefeated and WERE number one, but we see how that ended (great way to finish out the year by the way)
Now before you bring up our 2008 season results, yes we were bad and that's why we have a new staff and we will have to see how that turns out. But to sit there and criticize us on our coaching choices being a bammer well that's just funny. Let's see after Stallings, how many clowns did you guys have at the helm. Hmmm, I'll let you think about that one.

I'll be honest with you, I'm more concerned about Gene Chizik than I am Kiffin. And I'm not concerned about Chizik. We're all talking about and watching UT right now for the same reasons we all talk about and rubber neck a train wreck.
