Reason for Bama & UF fans discontent...

I personally love how all of a sudden UF, Bama, and LSU fans are all up in arms over Kiffin. Seems to me if they REALLY thought UT wasn't gonna be a factor they wouldn't even bother talking about us. Truth is they are all nervous because they know what the potential is for UT. We pulled a 5* from LSU, 2 4*s from the almighty Urban Winer, and came close to some of Bama's recruits with only having 1 1/2 months to recruit. They all know what it's gonna be like to recruit against Kiffin and UT from now on and they are nervous. I say Bravo to Kiffin. Go get'em boys.:rock:

Man, I hate to break it to you, but the only person afraid of LK is Hamilton.......and he's just afraid LK won't keep his mouth shut & will continue to make himself look stupid.

I honestly think 5150 is a troll for one of the aforementioned teams because if he isn't he is one of the worst Vol fans EVER!!

Another reason they are scared is because Kiffin does not say, "Workin' like heck."

Actually, I think you're pathetic fan for buying into the Kiffin hype. You should be outraged that this university chose such a coach to head one of the best programs in the country. It is insulting. The fact that you aren't insulted shows that you are either ignorant or you hate this program. Kiffin can barely put a sentence together, and you applaud him when he makes an @ss out of himself.

assuming that Kiffin and his staff were ethical in their recruiting push here at the end, they due deserver credit for pulling in this class. UF fans know full well how diffisult it is to recruit in this situation, so there has to be something said for that.

I think the problem with this current situation is that Kiffin himself has gotten a little too caught up in it, and is really overvaluing what this "victory" means.

Take a quick peek at Meyer's first class in '05 and you'll see what I mean. Not only does it take more than ONE recruiting class to get "back on the map", it takes great coaching as well. (see Notre Dame football)

If Kiffin is any where near being closer to Charlie Weis than Meyer and Carrol et al, then UT will rue the day Lane Kiffin began calling out the ruling class of the league in the first weeks he came on board, and begging for Phil Fulmer.

His best path would be to shut his mouth and start taking this job seriously. If he was serious, he wouldn't be resorting to these shenanigans. Right now, he really believes this crap doesn't matter, and what's worse for your program is, neither do most of you. You think it's great because he's everything Fulmer wasn't when it comes to his demeanor. Well, here's a news flash...cockiness doesn't make a great coach.

The rest of the nation knows what kind of coaches you guys have, so you'd better hope and pray they can continue to recruit the way they have. With the attitude coming from the top, I think it will be tough.

Coach Kiffen does't worry about stepping back on those toes that were so occustomed to taking jabs at VOLS without worry of any negativity.

5150, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU MAN? Seriously, Fulmer is gone i'm sorry. It's time to move on just like everyone else has and support the guys we have on board now. If that is not your mindset, then you truly are a disgrace to this fine university. Do everyone a favor and stay off this board.

I don't hate Kiffin. I think he would make a good assistant coach, BUT NOT THE FREAKING HC OF UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE!!!!! The man couldn't even pass Public Speaking 101, and you like the idea that he is the face and voice of UT? He should have never been hired.

You guys are in for a real shocker come fall. It didn't have to be this way. With all the money we've spent on this staff we could have gotten a really good, PROVEN winner for HC.

We did. We got a guy who won 2 NC's at USC as an OC, and recruited one of the greatest RB's of all time in Reggie Bush.

PF is gone, so why do you keep bringing him up? Don't you think though, since PF was doing a horrible job, that we'd actually go out and hire someone that we knew was a better coach? Makes sense to me. Sorry you can't grasp that concept.
