I am not going to predict who wins the job next year. Whether it is JG, QD or Sheriron, chances are other two will transfer. No way 4-star guys stay here to be career back-up. What that leaves us with is one 4-star QB, Zack Jancek and some unheralded incoming freshman.

What are your thoughts ? Could two of them stay and only one transfer ? I think highly unlikely.

Do we get a JUCO guy or is there some big name freshman that we are pursuing ?

Could JJ come to rescue if needed ?

I don't have a problem with running a 2 QB system, but it comes down to which one gives you the best chance to win? That's the one that plays! If it's too close to call run two series and then run the next one in and give him a couple of series. Come up with plays they want to run because they are confident they can run it correctly and score. I'm tired of running plays designed to gain 3 or 4 yards. Run the TD plays too.

Plan D.

I think S. Jones is here to stay...

Jones is not going to transfer from UT. He already made that move and decided this is where he wants to be. Dormady may, or may not, transfer if he doesn't become the starter next year. At the moment, we have 4 very good QB's for next year and we only have one football. That means three of them will be on the bench during games.

That was easy--wasn't it?

Unless you can beat out the guy with seniority and the most experience(QD) then you are the backup. Jones already had a "transfer" moment, that could happen again(doubt it) or he's officially a VFL.

One might leave, the other is a shoe in for backup QB.

Yes that was easy and very stupid too. Do you really think all of the QBs are just going to stay here and warm bench when one wins the job ? What world do u live in ?

Let everything run its course. Many on here are heralding JG and haven't even seen him take a snap in a UT jersey. I think Dormady will be a great pocket passer and am sure will still be incorporated in the run game. All because Dormady isn't a great fit in our offensive scheme this year, doesn't mean we can't craft a scheme that fits his talents. Lets wait this our and may the best player win the spot and receive our support.

What percentage of 4-star backup quarterbacks transfer?

I agree with the guy above that said JG would win the job and QD would transfer. (Leaving Jones to be backup which he would gladly accept)

It's either that or QD gets the job and JG agrees to play mop duty. Not sure where that would leave Jones..

S Jones really should consider playing WR if he's able.

Should have been running a two QB rotation this year.

I think JG wins the job....QD transfers....Jones is here to stay. There should be a freshman in the 2017 class. Plus a couple of others you see in warm ups but have no idea who they are.

Ohio state managed multiple top notch qbs for years succesfully. All we have to do is find us some top notch guys and run the table. Let these 4* guys go wherever they want. We need Cardale Jones and JT Barrett type qbs. We need to step up our recruiting game big time. The program has been built now go get the biggest big time players from the other top 5 schools.

Just dont name a starter during the spring game. Then your top two stay, more than likely.

So how is it other programs have multiple 4/5* QB's on their rosters?

There are legitimate concerns in the program.... without conjuring up phantoms. Coached and managed properly.... all 3 stay.

Sounds like you like to "worry"! Things will work out fine. Don't you think most schools have the same problems? One will transfer (probably Dormady) and they will do everything they can to convince Jones to stay. "There is validity to the saying... "you're only one play away from being the starter"! We should know that by now! RELAX!!!
