Ah, yes.

Let's get pissed a former Vol will succeed in the NFL. Especially Tauren after all the **** he's been through here and all the promises he was made that never went through.

Way to go champ :good!:

We saw it quite a bit in 2010. He had very little help on the line last year. Although he still deserves some of the blame. He's never been as horrible as people say he is. I hope he does well.

His biggest problem is he isn't fast and goes down on the first hit and Neyland stadium had alot of tackles on TP. He doesn't run people over and isn't very physical. AF was a good RB for UT he just had some fumbles at the worst possible times.

I hope he kills it in the NFL, a la Foster.

This just demonstrates how incredibly bad our line play was last year. As I've been saying, some of the worst OL play at Tennessee ever. Anyone who defends Harry Heistand needs to look no further than Tauren Poole's performance this week.

I'm sure the Irish will love Harry.

Chime in with your 'he's just a troll' posts now.

Everything I've read on Poole is that he will go in one of the mid-rounds of the draft. If he shows out at the combine, that should guarantee he gets drafted, IMO. I criticized the guy as much as anyone, but he's a vol and I wish him well. Congrats to him and I hope he succeeds.

if his 40 time is in the rb average I could see him in the mid-rounds. like to see his combine times

I'd love to see Tauren Poole turn out like Arian Foster. I certainly don't see that, though. That's not trying to be negative or anything, but I don't look at the starting running back for a team that had multiple games with negative rushing yards as a future pro bowler. That said, I've been very surprised with Foster.

People act like Foster never showed anything in college. Had he not automatically fumbled at every goal line he ever crossed, he would have been a stud. He had way more raw talent than Poole. Goodluck to Poole, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I wish him the best but I am skeptical about him. The guy fell down a lot without being touched, had no burst to break long runs, and ran out of bounds often instead of lowering a shoulder and laying a hit on someone. He poor senior year can't be totally blamed on the Oline.

How many starting rb's at UT don't get drafted? It is very rare but Poole was bad last year. I will pull for him and hope he does well. He seems like a good guy.

What's done is done. His career at UT is over we should all hope he out performs all other rb's, why in the hell would you be pissed if he shines?

You can never tell which backs are going to make it in the pros. The way the NFL goes through back these days, anyone has a chance to be a star. If he gets a chance on a good squad with good line, I could see him make it. We do have a history of putting out good abck into the NFL.
