Isn't Arrowhead Stadium supposed to be about the most intimidating place to visit in the NFL? Seems pretty dumb to weaken that edge.

Old fart football fans ruin games on every level. (NFL,college, high school)

Believe me I have met many 75 year old Tennessee fans at Neyland Stadium that have told me to sit down and be quiet in the 4th quater. :banghead2:

Fans are asked to treat Chiefs games like bowling matches - Shutdown Corner... - NFL - Yahoo! Sports

I understand controlling the obnoxious drunk fans, but asking all fans to sit down the whole game is ridiculous.

It may not be as bad as it sounds, but still.

I'd guess that it's similiar to Notre Dame's policy. You can stand up at points in the game as long as you're seated before the next play.

I guess I can kinda understand about the standing the entire time rule. Last year's Tenn/SC game I kinda felt bad for the guy behind me since he sat down pretty much the whole game. My brother and I bought tickets on row 1 on the 49 yard line. It's great seats, but you do literally have to stand the entire time to see anything. Between the cameras, coaches, and players on the sidelines you can't see anything at all sitting down. Us and pretty much the entire first row were on our feet start to finish. But it was out of pure neccessity.

Although I myself am a big proponent of standing up and cheering. I'm not one to complain at all. If it were up to me, the whole stadium would be on their feet. It's a football game, not a funeral. People go to have fun, cheer their team, and make noise. Basically for me, it'd be like the student section. Playing at home should be an advantage.

If you want to sit down to watch a game, do it on your couch, at home!!

107,000 people should not be required to stand the whole game because you want to. there's a time and a place for both, and outside of a couple of times, i've never had a problem. chances are, if it's a situation that involves standing, the whole crowd will be right there with you. nobody wants to look at your ass when it's 2 and 5 from 38 yard line in the middle of the second quarter.

if it means that much to you, the student section never sits, so it's INCREDIBLY easy to squeeze in down there.
