Tonight we lost to a very talented A&M football team. We shot ourselves over and over and over. Basically went in to this fight with one hand behind our back with the amount of injuries and still had a shot at overcoming diversity and winning anyway.

My recap:

1. Fantastic game from the backs. -Kamaras fumble.
2. Too many injuries (NFL talent injuries.)
3. Danny scared the entire fan base tonight. I just saw a flashback to Inky and dropped to one knee and prayed my butt off. (Hope for the best for that VFL)
4. The turnovers were flat out rediculous. Just non stop. Idk what the deal was on a few of those. (Cost us the game)
5. Future is bright.

Not one for moral victories but we didn't deserve to win and almost did.

It's bama week. Let's shock the world. We can beat anyone in the country. Period. GBO. Proud of somethings. Disappointed in some things.

Reality: we are in control of our own destiny. We lost tonight and we may lose next week. As long as we take care of business down the stretch we should be in A town come the end of the season. We keep winning and win in A town when it really matters we may back door our way in to the play offs as a 2 loss team. (Doubtful). My major goal for the year is to win the east and maybe the SEC. Playoffs is icing on the cake but reality is we probably play in a New Years 6 with 2 losses. I'm not writing off this coming weekend at home against bama but worse case scenario we are a 5-2 team after bama with nothing but a clear view to ATL. This program has come a long way.

Play with the intensity and tenacity that we played TAMU, without the penalties and turnovers, we beat Bama. We were our own worst enemy and just couldn't get out of the way but the level of play the third and even fourth string "next up" men showed really gives me confidence. I'll be there next week in section KK rooting them on and singing Rocky Top.

It was honestly the worst game we played all season...and we still almost won. These kids can play, and not just the starters. We were damn close to 700 yds of offense....are you kidding me? Dobbs threw for 400 yds....wow.

We lost. We beat ourselves. You don't win games with that kind of turnover ratio. A&M is a good football team. The Volunteers just fought a war in Texas....again. I wish we played this game every year. I think it is two teams and fan bases that would respect the hell out of each other and show up to play every year. Good luck to A&M the rest of their season.

We will win the rest of our games this year. Bama is going down in Neyland...our house. Tennessee is back. We can play with anyone in the country, and I pity the team that backs off with any time left on the clock. There is zero quit in team 120.

See y'all in Knoxville this weekend. Go Vols.

Diversity or adversity?
