I can tell you guys from really watching the games its the coaches' faults and in some circumstances its not. For Instance,1) players getting personal fouls and fumbling on handoffs. Coaches fault) Shouldn't be having these problems this stimulates from a lack of discipline and attention to detail. Players fault) this isn't peewee league you should know how to handoff the ball by now. You should also know that in a big game you don't do anything to give the other team any momentum early on and besides that you don't hurt your team's chances of winning in any way.2) Players turning the ball over and making bad reads. Coaches fault) If a player keeps giving the ball away year after year or game after game he should be benched. Also if a player is missing players in the passing game consistently he should not be allowed to make the receivers feel like they're running wind sprints. Players fault) You should want to hold on to the ball you should have a sense of pride when carrying it. Also as a quarterback you should want to spread the wealth around and lead your team to victory by doing so. You should show leadership qualities by trusting in all of your receivers. 3.) Special teams play being lackluster. Coaches fault) If you know that a team has a very fast and elusive return man you shouldn't have lineman on the punt coverage team. I know there are some young talented LBs(Chris Donald) and DBs(Prentiss Waggner) that need to be on the field. Also in our own return game you need to put an emphasis on winning the hidden yardage battle. If this means letting E. Berry return some punts and kicks. Players fault) You should want to run down the field and knock someone's head off and make them pay for fielding a kick against the great UT.

Man I'm getting fired up writing this thread let's go Vols have some pride. But this is my opinion on the season so far it comes down to a lack of focus and discipline from the players and the coaches are responsible for this.

Sorry, I had to break it up a little. Good post, otherwise.

It is 100% the responsability of the comander, boss or coach for everything his people do or do not do. The same mistakes keep reacuring year after without correction, there is no adjustment to put the players in positions to win. This is 100% CPF's fault.

I think you might be on to something. I especially like the line "You should want to run down the field and knock someone's head off and make them pay for fielding a kick against the great UT." It is the coaches job to get these kids fired up but it is also on these kids to have the want to to give their all for UT.
