I wanted to post these “stats” (I guess that’s what we can call them).

I think the QBR is for SEC play. Whereas, the line grades are for the Florida game.

In any event, they are not good, and really magnify the areas on offense where we absolutely must see improvement to be a true contender.

And, no, I’m not going to bash the young QB. Number one, because he is still young. Two, the line play likely is contributing significantly to his play so far.

Fire away!

I heard a podcast today toss out a stat that I have not bothered to verify, partly because I am too lazy and partly because if true it would make me sad. They claimed Nico had the worst QBR in the nation when under pressure in the pocket.

If true, it would validate what many on here have said, that he needs to be on the move more.

Lol none of that matters tomorrow or at any point going forward. We all know he has talent. Let him play the game and grow into being a college qb without all this extra bs. Just play football the way he is capable and all the talking heads start kissing his sack again. Including all the fans who thought he was a super bowl winning all star qb before he played a real game.

Unless Nico plays the greatest game ever played, we’re going to beat a lot of dead horses tomorrow evening. Win or lose.

Well we beat Grahm and he is about the same caliber as Jalen. So it should be fine. If you think these statistics matter. 😆

While that number is not great for Nico, look at the OL and you have your answer. Not 110% of the blame lies there but its a lot of it. In particular the LT spot

These numbers mean something, what that happens to be is up for debate. What is not up for debate, however, is that UT is chalk full of good football players and Heupel knows how to create a successful offensive scheme… so let’s just lace them up and see what happens.

True, but have to the Jimmies and Joes to do it, and trust your players to do it.

This is what scares me for tomorrows game. Milroe is ranked 2nd and Nico's last which means Milroe is statically more likely to make the big plays necessary for AL to win.
Milroe can throw the deep ball, so our DBs are going to have to bring their A game.

Of course, the refs will not need to look away every time there is a hold to give him time for his receivers to get open.
