This was taken from Yahoo sports........

"Wilson remained calm in the pocket, often floating dump passes over the heads of blitzing defenders, and Hall was nearly unstoppable when he lined up in the slot. Ten of Hall's catches came in the first half.

"They weren't covering him," Wilson said. "I don't know what they were doing."

Congratulations Mr. Chavis......you humiliated your players, your school and your fans one more time.

I noticed that our DB's seemed to drop back about 10 to 15 yards just before each snap in the first half. That's what they were doing. Giving the BAMA WR's about a 30 foot cushion. Pretty easy to make dump passes with that kind of distance.

Today, our defense made an average QB look like Joe Montana.

As I said earlier today, Chavis single handedly thrust JPW into the Heisman race.....

Things will not improve until the coaching staff is gone. I can handle a loss but not when the other team is telling the media some of the stuff we are hearing. I have now heard that players are being left open, our guys are too tired to play, they don't want to tackle a player. Flat out ridiculous! Why isn't this stuff dealt with? What did these guys do during spring practice and preseason? Cookout at Fulmer's house. I really think Bruce Pearl or Pat Summitt could coach the football team better than this. At least the players wouldn't be 'too tired' to stay in the game. No one likes to lose but take Auburn for example, they lost tonight but they could be proud of their effort. That's all we ask for, a team that leaves it all on the field.

while I should be pissed about this quote, I actually find myself laughing hysterically over it. I'm losing it.

It's not like this is the 1st time we have given too much cusion on receivers. This has been a problem for a long time, especially on 3rd and long.

It is Chavis' fault by it is every bit as much of Larry Slade's fault as anybody. Of all the talk about how the coaches do nothing but waste talent, he has wasted every bit of it he has encountered. The only reason we've ever had decent DB's is because they have that much natural ability, not because of his coaching. How do you not cover Hall all day? How do you not cover Harvin any better and how do you let Jackson do whatever he wants. It's like we haven't even attempted to slow down a team's biggest playmaker if they happen to play reciever

Numb inside.

To keep doing the same things over and over and expecting the same result is insanity Fulmer please be a man and step down or at least get rid of that overated bum Chavis and his crew.:furious3::realmad::mad:
