Brandywine, Md., prospect Raynard Randolph has started out with four scholarship offers from Pittsburgh, Tennessee, Rutgers and Syracuse and recently talked to Scout.com about the schools that have offered and the others who are simply showing him the most interest at this point.
Raynard Randolph, a 6-foot-3, 295-pound two-way lineman from Gwynn Park High School caught up with us to talk about the offers he has received and also fill us in on what other programs have been showing him the most interest as of late.
Tennessee - From what I have seen Tennessee is a place that has a great game day atmosphere and a huge stadium. Their tradition of winning is absolutely great and I cant remember them having a losing season since I have been born. I am definitely going to take a visit there as soon as I can.
Rutgers - They show me a lot of love and the defensive line coach has come out to see me a few times already. They were my first offer, so that always holds a special value to it and their program is definitely on the way up.
Syracuse - My cousin Cornelius Campbell plays for them and I have family in the area, so it would be cool to be close to people I know and get to learn from him, especially if they offer me to play defensive line like he plays.
Pittsburgh - My teammate Ronald Hobby is in my ear all the time trying to get me to go up and visit Pitt, so Im going to go up and visit him when he gets on campus to check things out there.
Virginia Tech is another program I am very interested in because I camped there this summer and it was a very peaceful campus, Randolph explained. I know a few players that are currently there and it really felt like home in Blacksburg.
