I think we have seem Butch's best effort. Recruiting has been great. Yet, preparation and game day coaching has been very poor.

So much energy to produce mediocrity is not sustainable. I think coach will burn out and kids will lose confidence. I think it's already happening.

Take a long look at what the offense did against good teams and how long it took. That's enough to say Debord needs the boot.

I doubt he gets it though

Medium. We'll be a yearly top 25 team with him, maybe win the East here and there but nothing more. I think he could be our version of Richt

Oh, how witty :p, to be a person who lives with negative thoughts, feelings, and with only friends that are of a lower station. Sheep in wolf's clothing is what I would describe. You don't have the spine to go up to any of the players and call them out face to face. Come 'on big man, go tell Barnett or Dobbs how you feel about their coach......the reaction might not be what you or any NegaVol might think. :rock:

Like you would go up to ANY person and tell them you think their coach, teacher, friend sucks.. That's rich.

What it will take for all fans to get real excited about this team.
1. Avoid team wide injuries.

2. An accurate passing mobile qb.

3. An offensive line that can block.

4. Beat Alabama, Florida and Georgia.

5. New offensive coordinator.

No confidence it will get any better than this under him. 9-3 is a good year, but this year was set on a silver platter for us and we blew it.

I'll be honest, I was physically ill when they announced Jones as our head coach. Every year, I tell myself that maybe this year he will show me what so many posters on here say he can do. Every year he let's me down.

I expect this years recruiting class to be another step back. Probably closer to top 20 than top 10. With that, I expect we will be looking for a new coach around Nov/Dec this time next year.
