Rate the season

I voted 8. The whole season was fun, more wins than expected, led every game as was pointed out, looked competitive and competent, which has been in short supply here, never went into a game knowing the staff had no hope of coaching at the level of our opponents. Ended the season feeling optimistic, as we schemed and played on their field in a way where we scored more points by the actual rules of football in 9 of 12 games. We just happened to lose 2 of those 9 due to absolutely awful decisions by officials.

If you go on a blind date expecting a 2, but a 7 shows up you're probably going to be happier than you would be going on a blind date expecting a 7 and having an 8 show up. I expected a 2 this season. It wasn't nearly as ugly at any point as it looked like it might be.

I honestly thought 4 wins before the season so it was a 9 for me. The only reason it’s not a 10 is how close it came to there being another 3 wins.
Just Fing crazy how much better we were than what I expected.

7. staff took 4-5 win talent and won 7 games showing very exciting system. things are looking up just need more talent and then develop them.. things could be fun in a few years..

I went with 7. I thought we would only get 5 wins this season so they definitely exceeded my expectations.

I gave it an 8. My first inclination was 6 but realized that was based on the bowl loss. Tried to put my mind in "preseason" mode when I was hoping we would win 5 or 6 games and fully expected to go 4-8. So based on my original expectations this season was an 8. Had we beaten Purdue would have been 9 and if we had beaten Mississippi and got to 9 wins would have been an 11. lol
