Rashida Tlaib’s THOBE, and Ilhan Omar’s HIJAB, are making congressional history

So patently anti-Semitic and clearly an attempt to impose Sharia law.

This is actually pretty useless legislation. Most of your credit score is based on the last 24 months of your credit history. Unless you are referring to a bankruptcy, something on your credit that is 4-7 years old no longer effects you at all. We already have a way to dispute fraudulent activity on your credit. This seems redundant to policies already in place. The third point can be debated since many medical providers will report an unpaid balance as a collection if not paid within 60-90 days. This may simply be an insurance delay in paying and not a true indication of neglect of payment. What would have been better for everyone would have been a law requiring any debt that was purchased by a third party must be reported using the date that the actual debt was incurred and not the date the new collector purchased the debt. The way the system is now, a debt collector can purchase an old debt and then report it to your credit as essentially a new debt- because it is new with them. This greatly effects credit scores and this practice should be stopped. So in my opinion, this is mostly useless.

I believe if there is a charge off for delinquency ( no payments for 180 days ), it is on the report for 7 years from the date charged off, even if the account is sold ( usually sold off in large groupings of debt including multiple types sold off from the original creditor/issuer ) or kept in house. But, the date it is closed starts the clock.

If at any point after charge off, and in the hands of original issuer/creditor or sold to second hand collector, and a payment is made, then, the 7 year clock starts again. If charged off on last day December 2000, and is dormant and not paid a penny on until last day short of full 7 years, and a payment is made in any amount, it restarts the 7 year reporting clock.

Best I can remember ( I believe ) from a buddy who ran a large collection company is St. Louis.

Anyone confirm?

This is a “game” collection companies sometimes use to greatly increase their likelihood of getting paid.

Not entirely correct. Collections effect your credit score and the extend of the effect is based off of the DLA- date of last activity- that is reported to the credit agencies. Once a collection is sold to a new collection company, that company can and will at times change the DLA to the date they purchased they account. This has the effect of resetting the date of the collection in a way that the credit bureaus read and score this as a brand new collection that occurred within the last 30 days. This is why a “new” collection regardless of the original age of the account can drop your scores by 50-70 points overnight.

So tired of the vile antisemitism coming from her. Her support for a non-religious Jewish man clearly shows her desire to spread Sharia law.

Only in the Democratic Party can a women who was voted “anitisemite of the year” ( over Louis Farrakhan) support and actively campaign for an old ,white , privileged , mulitimillionaire , socialist , male , Jew to be her leader . We truly have gone down the rabbit hole , and Pelosi is the Mad Hatter .

When a country votes you worse than Louis Farrakhan for anti-Semitism, you had to earn it . I’d love to hear the explanation for the old , white , male privileged support . The left has an identity problem and it’s showing up on stage now , as the campaign process draws everybody in closer and closer .

You support her mission of making women subservient? OR I suppose you think all those women in the middle east WANT to wear that rag on their heads..... For you... as an American leftist... that's cause to celebrate. So continue your war on women....

4 more years until you have another chance.
