Rashaan Gaulden is a day one starting nickel in the NFL

-Before the season last year you claimed that the 2017 team was a 2nd coming of the 1998 team and said that we were in for a special season and that we were going to shock a lot of people... except we didn’t win a single conference game and had the most single-season losses in school history

I always found this one kind of funny, because he's admitted that he didn't start paying attention to football, and certainly wasn't a UT fan, until well after 1998. I'm not sure how he could ever claim that any particular year "felt like 1998" when he had no clue how 1998 felt.

You parade around this site as if you’re an expert of all things college football, NFL draft and NBA but your predictions are never right, bud.

I’ve already exposed you for claiming that Kamara was your number 1 RB in last year’s class even though you made a thread last April 3 weeks before the draft about how James Conner (a guy who rushed for 144 yards and 0 TD’s last year) was the best RB in the class. If I exposed you for all of your incorrect statements we’d be here for days, so allow me to point out some of your funnier ones.

-After we lost to A&M in 2016 you predicted we’d play them again in the SEC Championship game...except neither team made the SEC Championship game

-Before the season last year you claimed that the 2017 team was a 2nd coming of the 1998 team and said that we were in for a special season and that we were going to shock a lot of people... except we didn’t win a single conference game and had the most single-season losses in school history

-Another preseason prediction was when you declared that Tennessee would have the 1st or 2nd ranked defense in 2017...except we ended up with the 10th best total defense in the conference and gave up 413 total yards per game

-The week of the Georgia game last year you claimed that it wouldn’t even be close and that we’d win easily 35-13... except we lost 41-0 in the biggest blowout in school history

-More recently you predicted that the Celtics and Thunder would be in the NBA Finals, and you better believe that I’ll be following up with you on that one as well...the funniest part is that your very next post was one claiming to be “an expert when it comes to basketball analysis” before declaring OKC as the 2018 NBA Champions

Below I have provided photo evidence for each incorrect prediction. Consider me your fact checker from now on.

Tuesday March 6th 2018–the day that D4H took an L.

And?

I've never said I could predict the future. If I did I would be in Vegas right now.

I only have one gift. Great pattern recognition skills. I can know what talent is and I can spot it. In particular projecting players from college to the NFL.

Right now you guys have only have the 2017 Draft class as evidence of my talent evaluation skills since its the only class that I fully evaluated. Just watch and see how my projections turn out. Thus far I feel good since I was the only person to rate Alvin Kamara as the #1 RB in the class and he went on to be Rookie of the Year.

LOL, you recently read an article titled, "Antonio Brown is a good reason not to obsess over Combine Results".

Didn't you?

Problem is, Antonio Brown had perfectly GOOD combine numbers, nfl starter level combine results, no red flags there.

You didn't put it in perspective, because you don't really understand football.

4.54 40, 13 reps of 225, 34" vertical, 6.98 3 cone and 4.18 shuttle ARE NFL quality combine results.

The article you saw (but didn't read or understand) points out they arent freakish and that he isnt a workout warrior....BUT

In Antonio Brown's case they had tons of freakish game film and stats from college that were freakish, with 3700 yards from scrimmage over 3 years.

And despite all those stats and college freakshow film...his less than freakish NfL combine numbers he posted keep him from being drafted until the 6th round.

So yeah the combine matters, a lot.

Especially when you are running 4.64, pushing up 8 reps, jumping 30" and posting 7.16 and 4.33 in the 3 cone and shuttle. These are not nfl level numbers, they aren't pedestrian, they are terrible.

For reference here is Florida DT taven bryan's numbers....4.98 40, 35" vertical, 119 broad jump, 7.12 cone, and 4.48 shuttle and 30 reps of 225. Compare Gaulden's numbers....

And this was florida's underachieving 300 pound defensive tackle from last year. With college production on par with k-mac.

And we all know who Antonio Brown is today..and he's no roshaan gaulden. I thought a comparison guru such as yourself would do better in that regard.

Your numbers aren't entirely accurate: Antonio Brown | WR | Central Michigan - NFL Combine Results

Antonio Brown's 40 was actually 4.56. His vertical was actually 33.5 inches. And his broad jump was 8'9" (a downright pathetic number). For comparison, Josh Dobbs (a QB) had a 10'2" broad jump at the combine.

Now the 40 and vertical are better than Rashaan Gaulden but nonetheless they are still pathetic for an elite NFL WR. Which is why Antonio Brown ultimately fell to the 6th round. After the combine he was considered small, slow, and unexplosive. He's now only the best WR in the NFL and a future Hall of Famer.

The point of mentioning Antonio Brown is that you can still find greatness in the NFL even if your combine metrics aren't great. And for the record, I never said Rashaan Gaulden would be the best CB in the NFL or a future Hall of Famer (like Antonio Brown). I just think he'll be an elite nickel corner in the NFL that plays for a very long time.

If Antonio Brown's combine numbers didn't keep him from becoming a Hall of Famer, why should Rashaan Gaulden's worse combine keep him from being a good player in the NFL?

Bench press is about the most useless thing I have ever heard of to measure a DB or any football player for that matter. Who cares what he benches?

The only gift you have is to amuse me and your troll game is strong.....I applaud you for that.

Rashaan Gaulden will be a STAR nickel corner.

I could care less about his 40. Just like Alvin Kamara, the tape is what matters.

It's a measure of upper body strength. Some think that upper body strength is useful in football.
