Anyone got any good rap artist? I've got a lot of the bigger people..I'm lookin for some people that aren't that well know, but are badas*. Thanks!

Who are a couple that you like that you consider "bigger people"?

Give me an idea of what you like and I can better make a few suggestions.

For example do you like more "poppy" rap like T-Pain, or do you like more "ghetto" rap like Three 6 Mafia?

well i have mostly, lil wayne, jeezy, gucci mane, webbie, bun b, three 6 mafia, flo rida..people like that. I'm lookin for somethin with a good beat too. I'm not really into the poppy stuff.

Ok good I can hopefully be of a little service then.

I would have to say first of all my favorite Memphis rappers are (you may know some of them but I don't really know how big any of them are outside of Memphis): (OLD and new)Three 6 Mafia, Yo Gotti, 8Ball and MJG, Project Pat, Da Volunteers, Lil' Wyte, Al Kapone, Frayser Boy, Playa Fly, Chrome, Indo G, Lutinent G, Prophet Posse, Mr. Sche, Mac E, and Kinfolk Thugs.

Others that are still fairly big but not quite as mainstream: Boyz In Da Hood, Gorilla Zoe, Young Buck, and Crime Mob.

I also usually go to HOT 107.1 - WHERE HIP HOP LIVES for a list of what's hot on the radio in Memphis because it combines both nationally big rap songs and a little bit more of an underground selection.

If you want/need me to be more specific with any of the Memphis rap examples I have pretty much everything that any of those groups have ever done downloaded and could be more specific.

And for the heck of it a little shameless plug (no we do not take this overly serious, we openly acknowledge how white we are)...
