It'd be nice if they won more than half of those games. 10-10 vs quad one doesn't scream #2 in the country to me

That's a pretty healthy %. That's 8 more Q1 games than Tennessee and the Vols have a high number. Ga Tech is 8-11 against Q1 and ranked 6th. Georgia is 3rd but only played 11. Notre Dame is 4th at 5-4. Oregon at 8th is 4-7.

DBU is a good team and got to give them credit for playing all comers and holding their own. Their conference play beings this week finally and there RPI will drop as there are no other Q1 teams in the Missouri Valley. Even then they have midweek games against Against TCU, aTm, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.

I have no problem with DBA being rewarded for playing the #1 schedule in the country but I find #2 overall to be a bit lofty. UCLA is 14-7 vs quad 1 and quad 2 and they're not even in top 20. DBA has no current quad 2 games

D1 staff rankings have been release and included in first post. No surprises.

By the way. If the SEC does not get in gear then there's a real chance only 2 schools will be national seeds - UGA has been inconsistent with some ugly losses and there will be quite a few big names school as 2 or 3 seeds in region play

Stanford is now 3-1 against the #2 and #3 teams in America. Yet unranked.

Just got tickets for the Friday night matchup of two top 10 teams, VA vs Miami, for 10 bucks.

I'll be interested in your thoughts on UVA.

I've watched them a couple times and they look to be deserving of their high ranking.

I have watched a few of their game highlights, they appear to be a complete team - pitching, fielding and offense. And very well coached . . . at this point in the season I think they will make it to Omaha.
