Rank our last 4 coaches

Well Pruitt has been here oh I don't know 9 months and coached 4 games so there's that. I've never once heard Pruitt blame Butch or the players, always puts the blame on himself or the staff. There's enough crazies on here as it is let's not start making things up, that'll really send them over the edge

did he say last nights loss was on him and his coaches ?

He said a lot of things. He talked about places where he personally failed, other places where the coaching staff failed (he never called anyone out by name, which I respect--praise in public, criticize in private), and other places where the players did not execute well. Plenty of each. It's painful to watch, but worth it if you're curious about our shortcomings.

Saban would have the guts to say the loss was on himself and his coaches - Pruitt wont do that - he is no better than Jones in that dept

You obviously don’t pay attention. Pruitt said he told the team in the locker room that he and the coaches didn’t give them a chance to be successful. Go somewhere else

last night not the WVU game and will he have the guts to fire the OC if UT goes 0-8 ?
Well your comment was he wasn't like Saban, he wouldn't take responsibility. You weren't game specific. But yes, now that I've went back and listened to yesterday's presser, he did say he failed in areas of the game and I still disagree with your original comment as it's completely wrong in every aspect.

I wasnt even in this thread to rant about Pruitt - its only his 4th game -- Its the ignorant crap about Dooley being better than Jones that Im irritated about -- Pruitt may very well go 0-8 like Jones so will that make him worse than Dooley ? I doubt it - Dooley was and always will be the worst

We have seen what happens when you try to get away from the spread and back to pro offense and Defense it takes time like when Urban left Florida or when rich rod left Michigan.

Given time, I think if you're not a village idiot, you can succeed at Tennessee in football. Problem is, the past two have been. Pruitt is hard nosed and knows football, so I think as long as we give him time, we'll be OK. Pruitt needs to hold onto his recruiting class and mitigate thru the season as best we can.

And as much as I despise Jones for what he left the program in, he still was better than Dooley by far.
