You would want them to be asked to look somewhere else.

We have a lot of talent that could possibly be wanting to come in, and between now and the EE date, there's gonna be some movement...what happens if we have to make room? Cross has already hit the road. My question is, rank them in order of which you would most be okay with them being asked to look somewhere else to who you'd demand Dooley's firing if they let them go.

Keep in mind, George bullock doesn't count, as he is walking on.

Anyone wanna give it a try?

Just remember that recruits actually do read this stuff. :hi:

Edit: I find these kinds of threads interesting when we're in the purgatory of a non-bowl post-season, but I'm not about to post names when we've been in turmoil like we have. Call me paranoid.

Honestly, if this does more damage then some of the other stuff on here, then wow.

I'm not saying necessarily that I want any of our recruits to be asked to look elsewhere. But, with the numbers we have, it's a possibility. I wish we could take all of them.

I'm just wondering which ones we view as most important, and which ones, we want, but if push came to shove, we would sadly have to ask to go elsewhere, to make room for a more prominent need.

I don't like the idea of asking recruits to decommit. Of course I do not know if any of the commitments as of now are conditional.

This is like ranking Victoria Secret models. I can't decide which one is the best looking, but I would take every one of them if I could.

i think every person gets one "drunken post." When you have more than one, you become Codyg, or crunchimus maximus.

Yeah. I mean, the fact that I even have to ask that question means that we have so much high quality talent possibly wanting in, that we would actually have to say to ourselves, "If such and such wants in, then, who could we possibly part ways with?" And that's hard. I just wanted to see if there was a general consensus. The fact that it doesn't seem like there is means that Dooley has done a good job thus far putting together a good quality class full of positions of needs.

So, yes, fail thread on my part, but a great problem that we would have to ask someone awesomely talented to make way for someone even more awesomely talented.

I know your point in making this thread so dont worry about it man, we know you're a VFL. Only reason why I for one, am opposed to these type of threads is because recruits do read VN so I dont think its a great idea to name names on here. However, I will say that I believe Cross was the first of few that will be told to look elsewhere in this class due to talent upgrades.

Berry4Heisman; If you don't like the discussion or point of the thread don't open it then. That's stupidity. - that would be clear evidence of a poor leadership quality to let people post dumb stuff without callin' em out. From what ive seen, volnation is in need of leadership! ;)
