Yeah. I don't believe the whole 5yr thing. Can't fathom Hart making such a major leap, when there is a decent chance that Dooley may not be here this time next year.

Can't see it being more than a 3yr deal with an option to extend under certain performance parameters.

Not to be a nega Vol, but so far he has not called anything. To my understanding there has been no official word on who has been offered or accepted the job. There has been a lot of he said/she said, but no one has posted a reliable source/link. I hope that everyone is correct and that RS is the hire. I will be the first to come on and tell all those called it, great job.

Who says Dooley won't be here. There is a chance that no HC anywhere will have their jobs 3 years from now. If Dooley gets a good staff and continues to build the roster, he could be here a long time. If not, adios MF.

I think having Shannon on the sidelines would make UT a much more attractive offer for a potential HC. And who's going to send him packing to bring in their own guy?
