Ramone Johnson possibly dismissed....

When I and another poster looked, they both showed as "active." Either Hubbs was mistaken, or it changed today because they finally worked out their schedule. So it may have just been a coincidence that they were both "inactive" when Hubbs looked. Of course, several other athletes probably were too, but may not have been looked at.

Gotcha, that makes sense. I guess there isn't a real need for Hubbs to check and make sure Austin Johnson, or to be cute and savvy here on VN - Rod Wilks, was active or inactive...

Birds of a feather...

With all that went down with Duke Crews, it's no surprise the trouble that Brent has had in Knoxville. Unfortunate.

What exactly went down with Duke, I thought he was dismissed for academics.

I remember reading somewhere on the forum in the last few days that Kiffin banned earings and hats in most areas. I quess this means we are definately not getting Trooper Taylor back huh?:flush:

Agree, Not necessarily that they rely on Freshman, but if they are good enough they will get them on the field and contribute.

Had a coach tell a team, that I played on. If he had a freshman, that was equal in ability to a junior, even if the junior was more experienced. The freshman would play.

I don't condone that idea. I wouldn't want our upperclassmen to constantly be leaving early for fear of losing PT to a talented Freshman.

I can't imagine that an upperclassman that was good enough to leave early for the pros would be too worried about a freshman taking his PT...

Depends on who the freshman he's competing with is. If the talent is equal and experience isn't rewarded then that player should take it into consideration before returning.
